Oomii’s Core Technology
The benefits of laser beam scanning (LBS) retinal scan AR technology for near-eye displays:
Multiple focal depths without focal rivalry
The combined laser beams for RGB laser diodes are directed to a MEMS mirror and reflected to the pupil by a combiner. The spot size of the laser beams on the retina create bright, sharp and high-contrast images.
Precise up-close interactions with virtual objects
Simulation of what can be seen with Oomii’s AR prototype. Hand goes through hologram image showing the ability for precise, up-close interaction with continuous, multiple depths.
